Tom Firestone
Tom Firestone is a writer, filmmaker, and IATSE motion graphics designer with extensive experience in film and television production. A graduate of New York City’s School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Film, he began his career working in visual effects and model making, contributing to major studio productions including Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Dante’s Peak, and Deep Impact.
His television work spans more than 100 episodes of The Blacklist, along with The Night Agent, American Horror Story, Person of Interest, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Tokyo Vice, Kaleidoscope, Law & Order: Organized Crime, and CIA. His career has included collaborations and productions for Lucasfilm, Netflix, FX, NBC, and other major studios and networks.
As a writer and creator, Tom has developed original feature films and television series across live action and animation. In 2002, he and longtime creative partner Martin Meunier sold their original animated feature pitch Antonius to Walt Disney Feature Animation, where they developed the project with studio executives.
Drawing on a career spent both creating stories and bringing them to the screen, Tom brings a filmmaker’s perspective to his writing—combining character, world-building, visual storytelling, and a practical understanding of production.
Martin Meunier
Martin Meunier is an Academy Award-winning filmmaker, writer, animation director, and visual effects artist with extensive experience spanning feature films, animation, and visual effects. A pioneer in blending traditional filmmaking techniques with emerging digital technologies, he has built a career bringing imaginative characters, creatures, and worlds to life.
Martin received a Scientific and Engineering Academy Award for his contributions to filmmaking technology and has worked on acclaimed and groundbreaking productions including Coraline, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Starship Troopers, James and the Giant Peach, Wendell & Wild, and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.
In addition to his work as an artist, director, and supervisor, Martin has spent the past eight years as a freelance writer at ZAG Animation Studios, helping develop the studio’s feature film slate, including work connected to Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie.
Martin is also a longtime creative partner of writer and filmmaker Tom Firestone. In 2002, they sold their original animated feature pitch, Antonius, to Walt Disney Feature Animation and subsequently developed the project with studio executives.
